Started out the day going to Pacific Northwest Ballet and I took the open intermediate ballet class at 10am. It felt so good to be in a more 'normal' ballet class. After the class ended we discovered that 2 of the people in class were actors/performers in "South Pacific". My parents and I were going to the 1:30pm performance. That was pretty awesome, taking a ballet class with 2 people from the show I was going to see at The 5th Avenue Theatre that afternoon.

During the performance the vet and I kept missing each others phone calls, so we were playing a continual round of phone tag. We're going to start Ruby on a different medication, since she's still got the infection, and the Clavamox doesn't seem to be helping.

The only thing I really didn't get done was e-mailing the Marysville school district IT guy what my schedule is for the next three weeks. I also forgot to call about volunteering for a runway show. Darnit!

Laptop is Back in Working Order

My laptop is working again, just took a couple of attempts at reinstalling the OS. I've reinstalled Office Pro 2003, Firefox, and Photoshop CS2.

Right now I'm studying for my exam for my PC Tech II class. I pray that my memory retention works well and that I do well on this exam.

Last night Justin helped me to reformat my hard drive on my laptop, and reinstall the operating system. First we ran the repair, but Internet Explorer wasn't working properly, so then we decided to start from scratch. I loaded most of the drivers last night. Today I was running diagnostics, wanted to check the state of the hard drive. When I left for school, diagnostics were still running.

I've been going through my gmail account some more today. And I've been keeping mostly on top of the class stuff today.

Darn, I can't really think what to write about. I'm sure something will come to me while I'm in class. This is day 7 of no working laptop. Hmm, I must be bored, I'm actually finally going through my gmail account, looking at old e-mails, and then deleting them.

I spent a lot of time today just reading school books and cleaning. I was a good girl and cleaned both litter boxes, sorted laundry, and helped clean my bathroom. I did a deep pink eyeshadow makeup look that turned out really cute.

It sounds like my grandparents may be trying to give away Peggy, their Miniature Schnauzer. I'm not sure exactly why, I haven't heard the whole story. Apparently Peggy hasn't really been eating much lately. It sounds kind of like she's depressed. I hope that somebody tells me what is going on tomorrow. Grandma brought Peggy over around 4pm, figuring that being around Ruby might help put some life back into her. I hope it helped, but I don't think it really did. Then again, Peggy wasn't really given the opportunity to get comfortable and come out of her shell.

I told Sarah about trying out for Seattle Fashion Week. She's quite excited. I guess she really likes fashion. She said she'd want to work/intern at Vogue or Elle instead of Seventeen.

We got some great new toys for Ruby while we were at Costco. She loves them.

I'm looking forward to the opportunities that may arise from taking ballet at PNB. No, I did not get up and take a lesson at PNB today. I'm going to start next Friday, when my parents and I go down to Seattle for the day.
