One last attempt with Justin to see if we can figure out these Python problems.

I feel like my back knows that it is getting a new, better bed soon. Because lately it's been bothering me more when I wake up in the morning.

I'm tired from all that walking yesterday. I'm excited for my new bed. It's a queen size bed, instead of a full size bed. This means that I'll have to get new bedding.

Today's service at church was "The Road to Redemption" Isaiah 58:11-14, Ephesians 2:8-10. Sabbath, 1 day out of 7. 1 day a week to specifically spend w/God. (The 'dead end' road is about religion.)

Today is Ruby's 1st Birthday! Happy Birthday Ruby!

This morning I was woken up at 4am to the sound of a bang. Apparently my Border Collies knocked over a can of paint. So I spent this morning scrubbing antique white paint off of the utility room floor.

While we were at the fair today we ordered a new bed for me. I've jokingly been saying that we got the bed for Ruby's birthday.

My bed will be arriving on Thursday, September 30th. Time to work on cleaning my room.

Sadly, I didn't make it to the party/thing this evening. So, I didn't get to spend any time with Heather. We were at the Fair too long.

I studied some today. I spent over an hour scrubbing my bathroom tiles, and completely finished cleaning the bathtub/shower.
Tomorrow my parents and I are going to the Puyallup Fair. We plan on heading down early in order for us to get home early. Heather invited me to something, and I said I would go, I just have to get home soon enough.

Yay, today was a full day for me. I feel that I accomplished a lot. I got up, ate breakfast, got dressed, brushed and flossed my teeth, and went to my 8am dentist appointment. I might have been 5 minutes late, but that was it. After the dentist I went to the credit union and paid my Visa bill. From there I went to the college and bought a brand new planner. All of this was accomplished before 10am! Heck, half the time I'm not even out of bed before 10am. So, I am quite proud of myself.

When I got home I washed my face, and finished getting ready to go to Bellevue for my doctor's appointment. My dad and I headed out a little after 11am for Bellevue. On the way home from Bellevue I heard something really cute on 105.3fm. "God likes spiritual fruit, not religious nuts."

I spent about an hour scrubbing my bathroom tile.

Oh joy, I have a dentist appointment tomorrow.

Hmm, really feeling odd here without a daily planner. The next time I'm out and about I'll stop by EvCC and pick up a new planner.

Well, my daily planner ended yesterday. I need to get a new daily planner for the 2010-2011 school year. Still working on finishing up my python assignments.

Yay! We're getting a brand new sectional! My mom absolutely fell in love with that sectional that I saw in the Macy's commercial. My mom really liked the chaise lounger piece. We're getting the bone/off-white color. It's being delivered on Tuesday, September 21st.

We figured out where the Macy's furniture store is located in Lynnwood.

Sometimes I feel that every time it seems like the PPA is really helping Ruby, and she's not leaking, she starts leaking again.

Looks like we're going to check out the sectional tomorrow.

We might be getting a new sectional for the rec/family room downstairs. I was fast forwarding through commercials and noticed a sectional in a Macy's commercial that looked like it would fit downstairs. It was a Macy's commercial. We might go to Macy's this weekend, to check it out. I'm going to double check the measurements of the room.

Wow, it's the first day of September, where did the summer go?!

Wow, where did this month go?! Tomorrow it will be September. I'm hardly ever on facebook anymore. I am quite bored right now.

Evan sent me a picture message this morning. It wasn't a pretty picture, either. It was a picture of his smashed up Subie. Apparently he was involved in a car accident the other night, and now the Subie is totaled.

This morning I woke up with a really bad cold. I was feeling so lousy that I didn't even make it to church this morning. I slept in with my puppy curled up next to me. After eating breakfast I crawled into my parents bed to watch TV and be near the phone. Ruby is such a sweet puppy, she's keeping me company and comforting me while I'm feeling miserable. She's going to be a great therapy dog and a great service dog! I watched the movie "17 Again" on HBO2E. I caught the movie from the beginning. Unfortunately, after pausing it several times, I didn't get to watch the end. My parents had set the DVR to record the pre-Emmy thing, when all of the celebrities arrive and walk the red carpet. That overlapped with the end of the movie, so I missed the end of the movie. I'll have to catch it again some other time.

Again, working on my Python problems and catching up on my e-mail.

It's at the point where time seems to be going rather slow like, yet quick. Odd, I know. Just can't seem to keep track of the days anymore. Still struggling through these Python problems.

Mostly, I just watched HGTV and DIY. I think I may be starting to get a little bit of a cold. Still need to find one of those backpack/leash things.

Man, I've been so busy that I'm way behind on my e-mail. I've got somewhere between 300 and 400 unread messages.

We went to the Zoo today. It was the seniors day at the Zoo, so we all got in for free, and we got free lunch. I got in for free and got the free lunch by being the chauffeur. At least mom and I were able to see the meerkats.

I worry about Otay, but he's not worried. I'll just keep him in my prayers. The other day I downloaded a new Twitter application for my BlackBerry.

I vacuumed out the van today. We cleaned out the interior because we will be taking people with us to the Zoo tomorrow.
I'm finally talking with Otay. He told me that he's been sick lately. The doctors aren't sure what is wrong, though.

Pit Bulls On Parade!

Today was Pit Bulls on Parade at the Reber Ranch in Kent.
I made sure to give Ruby her Cerenia about 2 hours before I planned on leaving. I also made sure that we went on a walk, hoping to tire her out, just a little bit. Ruby and I went down in the van. I probably should have stopped at the first rest stop, though. Ruby went big potty in the van. Thankfully, it was on top of the potty pads, sadly, it also got on her 6 foot leash. Oh well, I pulled over, cleaned it up, and we got back on our way.

Once we got to Reber Ranch Ruby was a bit overwhelmed. I don't think Ruby has ever been around so many people and so many other dogs at the same time before. She was acting really shy around everybody and all of the dogs. Normally I would have been trying to keep her from jumping up on people, but she wasn't doing anything like that.

I gave Ruby a bath today. I want her to be all nice and pretty and clean for tomorrow.

I'd mentioned to my dad about Pit Bulls on Parade that is happening on Saturday, but I guess I hadn't mentioned it to my mom. So I finally told my mom that Ruby and I are going to Kent on Saturday.

My back was killing me this morning. I ended up soaking in my parents bath tub for about 20 minutes using my new lavender scented epsom salts. I would have used my tub, but it needed to be cleaned out, and I hurt too much to try and clean it out. Thankfully, soaking in the hot bath really did work for relieving the pain in my back. My back wasn't hurting after that.

I believe I mainly worked on my mom's bathroom today.

I decided to take a bath today. Working on using up some of the bath salts that we have.

Super busy day. I got to see Martina and her son earlier today! For having had a baby just a short time ago, she looks great! I'm glad that I got to see her, just wished that I could have spent more time with her.

Satavy called me and was double and triple checking to make sure that I was coming, and asked me if I could bring an extra towel. I guess she forgot to bring a towel for Kam. I headed out a bit later than I was planning to. I was there within half an hour of the session opening. It was a good thing that Satavy had bought the tickets earlier in the week, because the session that we were out was sold out. Gorgeous day, and I found a relatively close parking spot.
After spending the afternoon at the water park, we all headed over to Satavy's for dinner/BBQ. One of Satavy's friends was following me to her house, but then we got separated. In the end, everyone who was coming for dinner made it to Satavy's.

Martina had invited me to go to Trinity with her and some of her other friends, but I wasn't able to make it. I didn't leave Satavy's until after 9pm, meaning I wasn't going to get home until around 9:45~10pm.

Mean cell phone. It deleted all of my old text messages.
I'm excited to go to the water park tomorrow. The weather report looks really good. 80's-90's, perfect day for playing in the water.

Today should be the first day of summer vacation. Should being the operative word. It's great knowing that I'm all done with my summer class. Now I need to and have to buckle down on my Python assignments and my security class paper on keystroke dynamics.

Today was the last day of summer quarter. I hope I did well on the final. Thankfully, I did get my image completed and turned in.

Martina is coming to visit. I'd imagine she's here by now. She does get my texts in Hawaii. Although, it's been quite a while since I last sent her a text message.
I'm hoping my mom's appointment/meeting this evening goes well.

Busy day. Started out with an appointment with Dr. Kohlberg, then I studied a bit in between appointments. Then I had my appointment with Karen. Karen informed me that she's meeting with my mom tomorrow evening.

My dad and I stopped at the college to pay for my courses and to purchase my books.

Today was the review for the final. Worked a bit more on my image. I think I'm just about done with this assignment.

Chris's friend, Steven, came over to help work on Chris's car. He brought his Yellow Labrador Retriever puppy, Diesel. So Ruby had another playmate. At first Diesel was pretty shy/overwhelmed. Rocko, Merlin, and Spencer were a bit curious about this not neutered male dog. Spencer was being his usual, nippy/bully self. I put Rocko and Merlin in the utility room with their food and water. She and Diesel just romped all over the yard playing together. So much for keeping Ruby quiet.
While the dogs were playing, and Chris and Steven were working, my parents were planting some plants that they'd purchased at the nursery. I helped a bit, too.

Currently working on reading through my Python book again. Once I'm done with this I plan on finishing the second midterm. I just realized that I screwed up on one of the chapter 8 exercises. I'll fix it and resubmit it. Ruby is currently sleeping on my back/legs.

Satavy reminded me about going to the Renton water park next Saturday. I hope the weather will cooperate for that.

I just about had a heart attack! I lost my phone while I was at Costco with my parents. It must have fallen out of my purse when I sat in one of the couches or checked out a mattress sample. I discovered that it was missing when my parents were getting ready to check out. I was searching through my purse for my phone and couldn't find it. I basically emptied out my purse, and still couldn't find it. I thought that maybe I dropped it in the car, but it wasn't in the car, either. I remember being online while we were driving to Costco, so I knew that I hadn't forgotten my phone at home.
I retraced my steps, looking to see if I could find it. First, I reversed my route, and worked from most recent place that I had been to where I started walking up and down the aisles. Then I retraced my steps from where I started when I walked in the store, checking any places where I leaned over. After both my parents and I looked one more time, we decided to check the lost and found. The lady who helped me checked the lost and found book, but nothing had been reported as being found recently. So she told me that my phone hadn't been turned in, without actually checking in the safe.
About 10 minutes later I went back to the lost and found area and one of the gentlemen in the office actually looked in the safe, (he didn't check the book), and asked what kind of phone I have, and what my screen background image is. A good samaritan or employee had turned in my cell phone! I almost hugged the guy, I was so happy.

After all of that stress we were all hungry, so I suggested that we go to Olive Garden. We went to Olive Garden for dinner, and I had a peach bellini with dinner.

Ruby went to the veterinarian today. She has a 7-day prescription for an anti-inflammatory to help her back leg. Dr. Weeks thinks Ruby probably just strained it, over exerted herself during one of her zoomy sessions. She wants Ruby to take it easy for the next week or so. Haha, that's too funny, you want me to keep an energetic puppy off her feet/relaxed for a week! Good thing about going, we were able to get her another prescription of PPA for her leaking. I forgot to get her toe nails trimmed, though.

School:
Eek! Today is basically the last regular class. On Monday we have a review for our final. I got a bunch of my school work done today, so that is good. Hopefully I will be able to finish everything on Monday. I'm glad I have my recorder, I recorded class today.

Working really hard on getting caught up on my reading assignments for my class. I only have a week and a half left.

I think Ruby must have changed sleeping spots and positions at least two or three times while I was sleeping. She started out sleeping/curled up at next to my feet, with her head resting on my feet. Ruby is still limping. Ruby and I worked a little bit on training before I headed to Bellevue. We got through 'Sit', and then I had to leave.

I cleaned my parents toilet, and scrubbed a bit more on the tiles.

We've started going over Microsoft Outlook in class.

Ruby is limping. When I woke up earlier this morning I watched as Ruby changed positions. I noticed that she didn't put any weight on her one rear leg, but I just figured that she was being tired/lazy. It wasn't until after she got up and I saw her moving around that I realized that she was limping.

Another rather lazy Saturday from me. I did iron for about 2 hours. So, at least I accomplished something.

Apparently the eggs I had for dinner last night were a bit undercooked. At least that's what we believe, after I almost threw up. But other than the end of the night where I almost passed out from being sick, I had fun last night.

Didn't really do much today. Mostly I slept in pretty late, recovering from last night. I did spend about 20 minutes working on cleaning my room.

Well, today I shall be getting rid of several pair of old pointe shoes! Yay for that. I'm getting $20 for them, they're going to be used as props in a little film. I'm going to be doing a video shoot for a hair product commercial/competition/thing.

Eek! I hate it when this happens. I look down for a few seconds while Diane is showing us how to do the custom Office build, and I completely miss one of the first steps. Hopefully she'll go over it again next week. Our assignment for the next class is to read chapter 8.

Another, relatively, lazy day. I did iron clothes for about an hour, though. So I am happy to say that I accomplished one task.

Today in class we went over our test from last week. I was proud that I got a B on the test. We went over IE7 customization wizard. Diane asked us to read chapter 6 for Wednesday, and informed us that we'd only have to read chapters 8 and 9 after that. She wants us to research how to build a custom Office install.

Went to first service at church this morning. After church we headed to downtown Lake Stevens to the fire station. Today was the last day of the firemen's breakfast. The firefighters make pancakes for everybody.
After breakfast we wandered up to the sports field at North Lake Middle School to check out the car show. We walked around the track and checked out the cars. Afterwards we walked to downtown and checked out the booths at Aquafest.

Dad went over to Lake Stevens on his motorcycle for the main parade. I messaged back and forth with my friend Joey. His family spent most of the day at Aquafest. He had me cracking up later when he informed me that his golf cart didn't have headlights, which was the reason that he wasn't going to go to the movie that was being played outside. I was planning on walking with Ruby over to Lake Stevens for Aquafest, but I didn't end up doing that. Sadly, I barely left the house today. I only got as far as the stop sign on my road.

Dad and I went to Target today. I messaged back and forth with my friend Joey. Well, my nephews are here for the weekend. Today is the first day of Aquafest!

It's kind of odd not having to get up early and head to the Everett Animal Shelter for volunteering. I know that I need this break, just seems odd, and I kind of miss all the kitties. Aquafest is this weekend.

Test day. I tried printing out all of the notes that I have for the class so far, but the upstairs printer is being incredibly slow for some unknown reason.

After everybody finished taking the test, Diane was planning on lecturing. But she decided to let us have a free evening. Which meant that some people stayed at worked on their image, and other people headed out. I was one of the people that stayed and worked on my image. I stayed long enough after we finished the test that I got my graded test back. I passed!

Had to attempt to study for the test on my own today. Justin didn't come over to help me study.

Today my mom worked on laundry and ironing. After we got home from church and had lunch, I started working on my Python homework.

First thing this morning I washed Queenie and Ruby. I gave Queenie a flea bath in the utility sink. Then I gave Ruby a bath in my tub. I figured that I would take Ruby with me to the Journey Family Reunion Picnic.

Well, I spent at least an hour ironing, I think. Had a photoshoot today. My first photoshoot in a very long time. It was at a studio in Ballard. I'm quite glad I drove the Metro, otherwise I would have had a fun time finding a place to park. I plan on seeing friends tomorrow. (I've been kind of lazy about writing lately. I mean, for the past month.)

Hmm, can't really remember what I did today. I ironed for about an hour.

Halfway through the quarter! That's a scary thought. I was planning on washing cars today, but instead I ironed clothes. I really need to work on that. I also really need to work on this XP image build for this class.

While I was ironing earlier today I found some of dad's old work shirts. I'm going to give them to Justin. Since just ironing one shirt was making me angry. I felt that keeping something that brings up bad memories isn't too wise. Justin is helping fix my dad's computer right now. I'm going to rewind and watch tonight's episode of the Deadliest Catch.

I baked a cake last night! I'm quite proud of myself for that.

It's a good thing that I have appointments programmed into my cell phone. I had completely forgotten that I had an appointment with Karen at 1:10pm. When the reminder went off at 12:10pm it was a shocking reminder. All of a sudden I had to rush to get everything together, and head north. Thankfully, the traffic was all clear, and I made it by 1:30pm.

Yay, I'm going to see Otay! He called and invited me down. I asked my mother if it was alright, and she said yes. I did get my hour of ironing done this before saying yes to seeing Otay. So I'm getting ready to head to Olympia.

Well, I did my hour of ironing this morning. I did more than my hour of ironing. I think I spent about 2-3 hours ironing. By the time my parents got home I didn't really have time to shower before the wedding. Thankfully, I showered yesterday. After my parents got home from running errands I worked on getting ready for my cousin's wedding. On the way to the wedding I asked my parents who we were related to, and how we were related to said person. Apparently the groom is my cousin. His father is my dad's younger half-brother. So, he is my cousin, and my father is his uncle. Met lots of cousins from my dad's side of the family. Most I'd probably met, but the last time I saw them would have been prior to 1996. I liked how I did my makeup for the wedding. It was a gorgeous day for a wedding.

Yesterday I kind of got started on an ironing kick. I started working on the ironing pile in the laundry room. Yesterday I spent about an hour ironing, and today I spent about an hour ironing. I know, it sounds odd, but it's kind of relaxing for me. I'm also finding clothes that I haven't seen in the longest of time. It's like shopping, without having to spend money, haha.

I ran errands today. Well, once I got my butt out of bed and got dressed. I went to the credit union and paid my visa bill.

I was supposed to go and volunteer at the Everett Animal Shelter today. After some considerable thinking, I think that I may be burning out. I realized that it's been about two years since the last time I had a vacation/real break from school. For the past several weeks I've been forcing myself to go, and arriving later and later every time. When I e-mailed Hilary that I needed a break for the rest of the month, she suggested taking longer off than that. She mentioned that she figured that I was getting run down. So, starting today, I'm on break from volunteering.

Burning out would probably explain the reason behind my constant exhaustion, no matter how much sleep I get.

Back to school after the long weekend. We have to remake our Ghost CD's, because we apparently were given incorrect instructions last week. Good thing I labeled last weeks CD 'BartPE'. I'm going to label this one Ghost 7/7/10.

Saw Dr. Kohlberg today. I explained to him that I think I need to try Adderall immediate release. Seeing as how I can barely concentrate in my 7pm-9:30pm class.

My dad put my new cubed bookcase together today. I finished putting it together. I nailed the backer boards on the back of the cubes. I then measured my current bookstand so I new which one is wider. The wider bookcase would go on the bottom.

Kevin brought his 14 month old Boxer, Titan, with him when he came to work on Chris's car. After putting Spencer in the house, Titan and Ruby had a super fun time playing together. Titan is a bit bigger than Ruby, but he's got the energy to play with her.

Hmm, let's see. I drove home from Olympia in the morning. I am very much at the end of this tank of gas in the Accord. Too bad my mom's old Costco/American Express card expired a few days ago.

Today was eventful. We got up kind of late. We had breakfast at Denny's. First time I'd been to a Denny's in quite a while. After that we went grocery shopping at Safeway. Otay was kind of low on things like cereal and milk, and other necessities. We were going to see a matinee showing of The Last Airbender in 3D, but by the time we got home, and got everything unloaded from the car, we had less than 30 minutes before the movie was set to start. So we decided to see a later showing. With the extra time, we went out to the Nisqually reservation so Otay could pick up some fireworks.

Yay, I'm going to head to Olympia tonight. Traffic is horrible right now, though. When I got home from my volunteer shift at the Everett Animal Shelter, I gave Ruby a flea bath, and then I gave Queenie a flea bath.

Haha, I'm cracking up laughing here, just thinking about what I did in class.

Justin came over this afternoon. I discovered that we are out of Pepsi. While I was finishing up some homework Justin basically napped. Around 6:30pm we headed into school. We delivered a new printer to Diane. I also used this chance to get online and e-mail my completed homework to Keith.

Yay! I found my parking pass for school. I feel kind of dumb, it was in my wallet the entire time. Oops!

I've been having trouble concentrating/focusing in this class. Taking a 20 mg Ritalin doesn't seem to be cutting it. It's annoying when Diane wants us to multi-task. I can really only focus on doing one assignment at a time. At least, with a CD-R from Justin, I was able to get the BartPE disc made. I was able to create the disc on my first try, I just needed Justin's help along the way.

Tomorrow is the beginning of week number 2 of summer quarter. I wasn't very good about getting up this morning. I didn't really make it to church. I think I have an assignment that I need to finish for class, but I can't really remember off of the top of my head. I should start using my daily planner/scheduler again/better.

Well, mom and dad are back now. They have such lovely timing, too. They got home right around the time that I should have been heading over to Lake Stevens Assembly of God for a jewelry/party type thing. Oh well, I did my best to be helpful to my parents.

Well, I made it through the first week of summer quarter. Now I just have to focus on finishing up my homework for chapter 6 of Python.

It's been quite a while since I've been at my normal volunteer shift at the Everett Animal Shelter. I've been volunteering during the mid-afternoon shift lately. Today was the first day in a long time that I got there early enough to see Paula. There was a gorgeous little silver and cream long-haired male kitten there. He was quite vocal about letting us know that he was there. Once I went into his pod, he quieted right down, and just snuggled up against me. He just wanted attention.

I thought today was supposed to be a not so great day, weather wise?! I wish I'd gotten up earlier. If I'd gotten up earlier, I could have eaten breakfast, taken a shower, and gotten dressed before my brother and his girlfriend arrived. I was in my pj's all morning long. I helped Randi with getting ready by offering up her choice of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair care products, makeup, and even shoes.

Randi did help me a bit with my own clothing selection.

I'm proud of myself for the amount of studying I have done today. I read chapter 6 in my Python book today. By the time Justin came over I was almost finished reading the chapter. He didn't have to wait too much longer for me to finish reading the chapter, and then typing up the problems. Justin decided to enjoy the lovely weather by reading on the back deck.

First day of summer quarter! I'm in class with Joey, Justin, and lots of other former classmates. (Unfortunately, I'm typing this up on June 30th, so I don't really remember too much from this day)

Happy Father's Day!

The concert last night was good. Spending time with Otay was awesome! Got to see She Wants Revenge and the Psychedelic Furs.

This morning I was reminded that I should always have at least 1 extra days supply of medication for my ADD with me at all times. I didn't have an extra days supply with me last night, and I spent the night at Otay's so I could spend my time with him, this made the drive home this morning quite interesting. ADD and driving do not mix! What I mean by this is that unmedicated ADD and driving don't mix. Normally I'm fine with driving, but then again, normally I'm medicated. Oh well, this was probably one of the only times where I've ever done this. I won't be repeating it. Otay informed me that he has Wednesday and Thursday off, so he might be coming up for a visit. That would be so awesome!

Happy Father's Day to all of the father's out there. Sadly, my dad's in Seaside, Oregon on vacation with my mom. I did meet up with my brother at our grandparents home and delivered the father's day card that my mother had picked up for her father. Chris and I spent a bit of time visiting, drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies. After Chris left for home Uncle John stopped by. I haven't seen Uncle John in an extremely long time. I showed him pictures of my puppy.

Such a busy day today! I meant to get up early enough so that I could make it to the beginning/intermediate ballet class at PNB. Any other Saturday I would have had enough time to get ready for ballet class, but not this Saturday. I was ready to go by around 9:26am, and class would be starting at 10am. I decided that I'd stay home and get ready for the rest of the day.

I walked Ruby, so I was proud of myself for that one. If I hadn't walked her in the morning, she wouldn't have gotten her walk in today. Missing ballet class also gave me more time to get ready for helping out with the PNB student performance and the concert/date with Otay.

I volunteered to help with the Pacific Northwest Ballet School's annual performance. I would receive 5 free classes. All I had to do was help hand out leotards and make sure the girls were being quiet when they were heading for the stage. We also accompanied the students up to the balcony prior to the intermission, since all of the students would be watching the rest of the show which consisted of dances performed by the top two most advanced levels.

Watching the most advanced dancers dance really made me yearn to improve my ballet dancing.

I was planning on trying to go to ballet, but I just wasn't feeling well enough. My body is being weird. I walked my puppy before we all went to Costco in Smokey Point. Otay left me a voice message, and sent me a text message. He invited me to a concert for tomorrow evening. We're going to see She Wants Revenge at the Showbox SoDo. Yay, I get to see Otay!

Again, go me for walking Ruby again. My bum is sore from all of the quick walking that I'm doing with her. I discovered that when you work a volunteer shift that ends after closing at the Everett Animal Shelter you now have to exit using one of the back doors, and walk around to where you parked. I wish I was all better, but I still have a bit of a cold. This cold is sure hanging on.

I was good and walked Ruby today. That makes two days in a row that I have walked her. We also worked on training. I keep thinking to myself about how they say it takes 21 consecutive days to make something a habit. So I am going to attempt to force myself to walk her once a day for 21 days. Hopefully after 21 days, I'll no longer need to force myself.

On my walk with Ruby I ran into Beneth. Her sister had just left, and while we were talking her mom drove by, then her dad pulled up behind her mom.

Today I worked on some training with Ruby, and also took her on a walk. We worked on getting her used to the clicker, and her name. We also worked on a few basic commands; 'watching', 'all done', 'sit', and 'down'. She's doing such a good job on lying down when I ask her for a down. There was a time that she couldn't/didn't do 'down' at all.

Today is Bucky's, Bubba's, and Emma's 6th birthday! They are still my kitten's, though. I miss Bella.

Karen said she would be another clutter buddy/accountability partner for me. So, my goal for this week is to organize another drawer in my bedroom.

Got some more organizing items for my room today. Also got a little bag to hold Ruby's training treats in, and a bully stick for Ruby. Woke up this morning with a stuffed up nose, feeling kind of miserable. Felt a bit better after a few hours, though.

Oops, for some reason I was thinking that the 12th was on Sunday. Today was Eliza's graduation party. I was planning on going, but I thought it was tomorrow. Instead I stayed home and read my beginning web pages book. At least I got quite a bit of reading done for that.

Yay, I got the Accord back! Boy was that expensive! At least they vacuumed out the interior, washed the exterior, and detailed it.

Well, I did as much as I could on the final. I'm just working on other elements of my school work now.

Argh! This is so frustrating! I'm trying to do a practice exercise, but I can't get any decent internet connection. For the most part, I don't need internet connection to do these tutorial assignments, but this one is the exception. I attempted to do it using dial-up and my mom's computer, but it didn't work correctly. At least I'm starting on studying the section on tables. That should help me tomorrow when it's time to finish up the final.

Well, my car got towed to Klein Honda this afternoon. I spent the rest of the afternoon trying to study for my final, and put together notes to use. I probably should have studied some more, but I ran out of time.

Well, the clutch is completely gone on the Accord now. It will most likely have to be towed into the dealership tomorrow. That way it'll be there for it's service appointment on Wednesday morning.

Well, I didn't make it to church this morning. I was too exhausted from yesterday, and felt that my time needed to be focused on school stuff.

My mom was kind of annoying me today. It was great that she let me come with her into her office to work on some school work. There was lots of room to spread all of my books out, and kind of organize them. I started writing down a list of reading and assignments that I need to do. That way, as I complete them, I can cross them off my list, or erase them. My mom's work computers have dated internet browsers. They are running Internet Explorer 6! Internet Explorer 8 is what I'm used to when I have to use Internet Explorer. Even IE7 would have been better, because IE7 was when they introduced tabbed browsing to their users.

My throat is now sore. I think I'm getting Chris's cold. Not cool, because now I'm starting to feel miserable and sick. I get really annoying when I'm sick.

Not being able to get any high speed internet access is super annoying. Assignment #3 for my CS120 class is also really annoying. I completed the first part, but now I can't figure out how to make the second part work. Mom says that we can go to her office tomorrow so I can e-mail stuff there. I'm going to move on to a different assignment, and come back to #3 later.

It feels like we just got home. My parents and I went to Satavy's for Kameron's 1st birthday party. He had 2 cakes! Lots of food, lots of fun things. It was such a beautiful day for the party, too. On our way down we went and got a new air filter for the Accord.

When we got home my mom got mad at my dog because it would appear that she chewed on one of the roses, and broke the portion that had a lot of new growth and buds on it. I took Ruby for a walk.

Yes, I finally completed my CS120 midterm. Now it's time to head home and get ready to go to the Mariner's game. I was exhausted this morning.

I hate school, and the stress it causes me. Although, it's my own fault that it causes me so much stress. In a roundabout way, that just implies that I hate myself. That's old news.

I feel like I'm going to be sick, that is how stressed out and depressed I'm feeling right now.

I wish there was another full week of school left. Or something that would allow me more time to get things finished, and completed.

I made it to ballet this morning! I wish the Accord wasn't broken.

Well, we survived our presentation for beginning web pages. Although it appears that our classmate messed with the CSS stylesheet, so the pages didn't look very good, and were hard to read. Plus, that group member didn't even show up for class!

Darn, it's one of those days where I feel that I kept busy, doing a whole lot of nothing.

Finally, I can relax, at least a little bit. I have completed my 3 pages for the group final project in my Beginning Web Pages class, and I have successfully submitted them. I finally was able to start typing stuff up for the home page. Once I started it felt like I was typing up a storm. Now I can focus on my individual assignments for this class.

More stress due to school work. My nephews are over for the weekend, and they are both sick. I'm still hitting mental brick wall when it comes to figuring out what to put on the home page.

I'm in full fledged panic mode! This CS120 Group/Final Project is just killing me. I'm freaking out about it. All I want to do is cry. I wish we had more time.

I think I finished all of the midterm programming problems for my CS131 class. I've started, and gotten a bit more accomplished on the pages for my CS120 group final project.

Yep, still in a state of panic when it comes to thinking about my CS120 class.

Haha, Keith talked about Faraday Cages. I've heard that term before, I heard it on Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead! Score another point to learning stuff from Doctor Who!

Today's not been my day when it comes to my beginning web pages class. Seriously, it's causing me anxiety attacks.

I showed Karen most of my organizing books, and the e-mail correspondence between myself and Denise. I drove straight to school from Bellevue. I finally printed out my summer schedule, but the amount due didn't make any sense. I went to the cashier's office and they gave me the actual amount due.

I am bound and determined to complete the final problem for chapter 3 and turn in my chapter 3 homework.

It was so nice seeing Pastor Greg, Dawn, and Katie at church this morning. After church we went home and had lunch. My dad and I went to Pastor Eric's for Bekah's graduation celebration.

I feel that I am slowly, but surely, improving in ballet. I am able to keep up with more and more of the barre warm ups. I'm really wishing that I had a monthly parking pass for the parking garage. Monday through Friday the parking garage costs $7. On the weekends the garage costs more. This is to be expected, seeing as more people come out to the Seattle Center on the weekends. Last Saturday the parking garage was $10, today it was $12. There was another garage about a block away that was only $7! If I'd been early to ballet class, I probably would have parked at the less expensive garage.

This afternoon I've been feeling exhausted. I'm supposed to be getting ready to drive down to Lakewood, but I don't think I'll be able to make it. Well, I'll probably be able to make the drive down, but not the drive back.

I'm looking forward to seeing Katie tomorrow.

I just got out of the shower. I didn't even bother trying to go to ballet this morning, I was too tired, and/or it was too late. But I am definitely going to be going to ballet tomorrow morning! I have to give Ruby her Cerenia and get her ready to go to the veterinarians. Hopefully the van will have enough battery charge to start by then. This evening I'll be meeting with a photographer at Border's in Everett, talk about doing a photoshoot to add to my portfolio sometime in the not too distant future.

I was super exhausted this morning. I almost forgot that my brother came in and woke me up.

I made it to ballet class this morning. Although my left knee started bothering me towards the end. I was able to keep up a bit better with the barre exercises.

I just can't focus today! My ADD is getting the best of me, for some reason. This happens every once in a while. I pray and hope that I'll be better tomorrow.

I realized that the next thing that I am going to work on in my C++ class is the midterm exercises.

Today has been one of those days where I just haven't been able to focus at all. It's making it super difficult at school this evening. I feel that I really haven't accomplished anything today. Which sucks because I was on such a role yesterday in class.

Annoyed because I can't figure out how to subscribe to podcasts for my Zune.

I didn't wake up early enough to make it to ballet class this morning, hopefully I'll make it tomorrow.

I've been on a roll in my CS110 class tonight. I finished all of my chapter 3 assignments. Just have a couple problems left to do. I passed the last CS228 quiz, so yay for that.

Well, it sounds like I'm the 'makeup guru' of my friends. Sarah was talking about how we need to get together and go to Sephora some time.

I made it to the beginning intermediate ballet class this morning. I was a bit late, but that was mainly due to the heavy traffic once I got off of the freeway. I must say, compared to the first two beginning/intermediate ballet classes that I took back in 2007, this class was easy. The class was still kind of tough, but it was more due to the fact that I'm so out of shape.

I drove down to Seattle for ballet class, but I was so late, that I didn't actually attend. I was quite unsettled by a girl who was very upset and crying as she was leaving the building. Instead I looked at the calendar and wrote out a list/chart of the list of remaining days and classes that I can attend in order to use up my 20 class prepaid card.

I helped set up the new table for our back deck.

I should really start typing more stuff. Volunteered at the Everett Animal Shelter today, so I didn't go to ballet class. I finished chapter 6 homework and e-mailed it to my teacher for C++!

Another day of accomplishing nothing. I sure do sleep a lot these days. I really need to get up early enough to make it to dance class.

My dad and I had to get up and out of the house by 9:30am this morning. We both have a doctor's appointment in Bellevue.

Bit downcast today. Beautiful day out, though.

Went to the women's tea at church with my mom this morning. I'm going to watch qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix so I can delete it. Then I'll get Ruby and Angel and we'll head to the Everett Animal Shelter.

Yay, I finally heard from Otay! He was hoping that I'd be able to come over this evening. Sadly, I'm not available since I'm going to a women's tea thing with my mom (she bought the tickets last Sunday) at church tomorrow at 10am. It sounds like he's all moved in to his new place. Can't wait to see it, but more importantly, I can't wait to see him. I hope I hear from him again soon.

I wanted to go to ballet this morning, but I was exhausted from yesterday. I woke up around 7:30, but I wanted 20 more minutes of sleep, so I hit the nap setting on my alarm. I slept through it, though. When I woke up next it was after 8, and it felt like every time that I closed my eyes the next time I'd open them it was 20 minutes later. I remember waking up around 9:16, so decided there was no way I could make it to ballet. I'm just going to have to start anew next week, starting Tuesday!

I'm not sure, but I think I'm going to try and head over to the Everett Animal Shelter and see about helping set up for tomorrow. I'm going to try and take each of my cats in tomorrow to get microchipped. I'm also going to try and take my dogs in for microchipping, also.

It looks like Barnes & Noble is having a really good sale on BBC DVD's right now.

Earlier today I went to downtown Seattle. I went to Marcella's La Boutique for a casting for the Vera Wang Bridal Couture fashion show. They had me walk a few times, then they had me try on one of the gowns and walk for them in the gown. (I needed to walk a bit faster.) I hope and pray that they liked me, and that I hear back about it in a day or two.

Excited for tomorrow. I tried to go to ballet class earlier today, but I decided that by the time I got to Seattle I had missed about 20 minutes of class, so instead I drove around downtown Seattle and found the boutique that I'm going to tomorrow afternoon. I e-mailed Hilary letting her know that I wouldn't be there to volunteer tomorrow, but I let her know that I'm available Friday afternoon for help with getting ready for Saturday.

Some of my class mates and I are going to be publicly thanked this evening at 6:30pm. It's for when we volunteered at the Marysville School District.

Earlier today, while trying to figure out the last two exercises for an assignment, I was just about having an anxiety attack. The problems were frustrating me so much that I was ready to throw my computer.

I'm feeling like I'm hitting a mental block right now.

Yay! I got my new shower/tub corner organizer, and I got it all put together and installed. So my shower/tub looks nice and neat now.

I didn't make it to church this morning. Was just exhausted from all of the work I did on my room yesterday. I'm annoyed, I totally forgot to watch Doctor Who in HD last night. I still need to watch the episode.

I got my floor cleared enough that we were able to get the vacuum cleaner into my bedroom, vacuum the floor, and move my bed, desk, and night stand.

Dad was being pretty mean to me earlier today. Mom said that she'd help me finish cleaning the bathroom today. Dad wouldn't go with me to Fred Meyer's to pick up the corner unit for the shower that I needed. Mom was more focusing on me clearing enough room in my bedroom so that I could move my bed. She's willing to help me move my bed.

Yesterday my parents scheduled appointments with the vet's for Ruby and Queenie to get their nails trimmed. So dad and I took the dogs to the vet's. Ruby's got nice trimmed toe nails now, she finally got her rabies shot and her third set of puppy shots. The vet also prescribed her PPA (it's for incontinence, it helps tighten up the muscles), and we'll let her know if that helps at all with Ruby's leaking.

I'm frustrated with myself. I didn't really study before class tonight, and how I did on the midterms really reflects that. Keith is letting us complete the programming exercises, from the midterm, over the weekend for points. William said that I could take the midterm some time next week, when I'm ready for it.

A positive, I e-mailed Keith a link to the company's (5th Cell) website. He let me know that he'd work on getting some contact information and see if he can't set up an internship with the company.

Oops, was a bit late to school today. I think I did alright on the midterm, but I'm not sure. I'm sure I could have done better.

A bit annoyed with myself today. I finally got a decent internet connection in my bedroom. Unfortunately, that resulted in me spending all of my time on the internet, instead of actually working on school work, or taking a shower, or giving Ruby a bath.

Yay, another night of great sleep. I didn't get up until after 10am. Ruby and I were very content to snooze as long as possible. I probably should have gotten up sooner, so that way I made sure that I left early for my appointment. But Ruby was a good girl, when we went outside she went pee right away and then pooped. Since I saw that she'd done both, I knew I didn't have to worry about her going in the house, at least for a while.

I was a bit late to my appointment, which is pretty normal. But I felt that I talked a lot, which is good. I showed Karen pictures that I had taken of rooms on the 2nd floor of my house, so she'd have a better idea of the clutter.

Yay! I think my insomnia might be over! Okay, the melatonin that I took before going to sleep last night may have helped.

I was so proud of Ruby when I was getting ready to leave for church this morning. I was pulling the wrapper off of a bully stick and Ruby went over to her crate, and started looking in her crate, and doing bouncy play bows around her crate. She was all excited about getting her bully stick and hanging out in her crate.

I actually took a bit of time and did my makeup before church. I was sad that Sarah wasn't there, though. During service I heard/learned about a local tech company that has a Christian outlook, so to speak. I checked out the company's website, and it sounds like an excellent company to work for. I'd love to work for them.

I got a bunch of studying done for school today. I also accomplished completely scrubbing out the bathtub/shower. It's all shiny now. I still need to work on cleaning out the door tracks and the exterior of the tub/shower.

We went to Fred Meyers today. Mom had seen an outdoor table and chair set that was advertised as being on sale through today. She liked it, but wasn't quite sure about whether to get the whole 10 piece set. All we picked up was a new umbrella. I also checked out what they had in regards to storage/organization type stuff. They had several things that looked interesting, bed raisers, 36 pair shoe holder that hangs on the back of the closet door (it can actually hold heels and boots, which is rare), lots of nice little storage cubbies, and a cool bathroom shower/tub corner caddy organizer. My mom said I could only get one item, I ended up not getting any of those items. Next time I think I'll get the bath caddy/organizer, though. It seems like it's a very useful item, and I could put it to use immediately.

After getting home and measuring the current table on the back deck, we decided that we should go back and pick up the 10 piece set. The table in this new set is 40"x60", which is smaller than our current table. Our current table is too big for our back deck. So my dad and I went back to get the set. I wanted the umbrella base, too, but my dad said no. We also stopped at Home Depot and perused through their bathroom department.

I watched Avatar with my dad. I also did some research on Pioneer Elite DVD players and televisions. Found out some really sad news, Pioneer pulled out of the television business. Apparently Pioneer Elite has 3 different Bluray DVD players. The top of the line one costs around $2,200! The 'entry' level one costs around $400-$600. I say if we want to update to a Bluray DVD player we should got with the 'entry' level Pioneer Elite DVD player, seeing as how our original Pioneer DVD player worked just fine from 1997-2009. It still works, it just makes clicky noises while the DVD is spinning, and you have to be quick about getting the DVD in the tray, because you hit the open button and the tray opens and then closes. You're supposed to hit the open/close button once and the tray opens, then when you hit the open/close button a second time the tray closes.

I started feeling nauseating around 3 or 4pm this afternoon. I was hoping that maybe some fresh air might help, so I went with my parents to Flower World. Sadly, it didn't help. But the chicken bake at Costco helped a little bit. Dad got his Bluray player, it's a Panasonic, I'm annoyed.

Stupid insomnia! I've woken up before 4am everyday since Tuesday. Thankfully I was able to fall back to sleep for about 3-4 more hours.

I worked with Ruby on some clicker training earlier today. We're getting closer to doing the down.

I'm hungry, but still kind of afraid of eating certain things. Afraid that what I eat won't agree with my tummy. I had cereal, and a couple of popsicles.

I turned in an assignment for my C++ class. So proud of myself.

I felt well enough to go to school, but not well enough to drive. My vision wouldn't focus so I constantly felt kind of dizzy, like I might fall over. Well, I had my dad drive me, and before going to school we went to Bridges. I wanted to see what they had in way of X-Pens and nail tools. Bridges did have some X-Pens, but the tallest one they had was 36", I'm looking for a 48" tall one, and they didn't have the Dremel dog nail file tool/kit. At least I was able to get Ruby a new chew bone to replace her missing chew bone. My dad drove me to school today, and I was early to class! My dad's going to meet up with my mom and they'll probably get dinner. Somebody is going to be picking me up from school. It'll probably be my dad, since my mom is generally asleep by then. We're having a guest speaker in our Computer Information Security class.

I'm hungry, but nothing really sounds good.

I felt like dying this morning. Insomnia kicked back in, so I was awake around 3am. Then I was feeling dizzy, weak, nauseated, and my joints were hurting. I ate a piece of bread, and thought I was doing a bit better, but then I threw up. Thankfully, I only threw up once. I spent most of the day trying to sleep, but it was a very long day. Ruby slept with me most of the day, what a good girl. I finally felt that it was safe enough to eat, and had a couple of bowls of lentil soup, with apple juice. I was starving.

Yay, I finally got help from a class mate on how to do the problem that had been stumping me all weekend long. So now I have the problem finished.

Today's been a super long day! Went to the Zoo!

Still have yet to really start my beginning web design assignment that was due last Thursday.

I was hoping that after a night to sleep on it, that I'd be able to figure out the Python program exercise easier. I was able to get the first one done, but no matter what I do I can't seem to figure out how to make this distance traveled program exercise work. I wish I had contact information to easily contact some of my classmates for help. I'm thinking that I'll just have to wait until Monday for classes and ask Keith for help.

I met Jim, my brother's friend who works for Microsoft. My parents are at the crab feed, gross. Ruby reacted to Rocko's growling when getting near his food and attacked him. The result, a slobber covered Border Collie, no blood, no broken skin. This is the second time it's happened. I'm fairly sure that Ruby is just reacting to Rocko's growling. She'll sit back and watch while Spencer eats all of her food, she'll eat Queenie's food right next to Queenie, and we have no problems around her food. The only difference is that Rocko is growling and baring his teeth.

I'm frustrated! I've been working on school work all afternoon long, and I still can't get this Python program to work. I'll just move on for the time being, and study some other school work.

Nope, didn't make it to class on time today. Now I have to hurry and do my assignment for my Beginning Web Pages class. I haven't actually started it, yet. But I finally downloaded everything that I need to download for the assignment.

I had a horrible case of insomnia last night. This morning, when I got up, I thought that I might throw up. It's one of the few times where I pushed Ruby away. Once I had a small glass of milk, and climbed back into bed, Ruby jumped into bed with me, and I was finally able to get 4 consecutive hours of sleep.

Mom and dad went to tonight's Mariners game, and got to sit in the 200 level/Terrace Club. Lucky ducks.

My poor puppy has been in her crate for several hours. I put her in her crate around 2pm, right before my dad and I left to run some errands. I did get one of those collapsible laundry hampers for my laundry, and a plastic 'beverage tub' to store Ruby's toys in.

Pictures from Friday night's fashion show are starting to appear on the web. Vanessa also sent all of us a message on Facebook about our compensation for the fashion show. Apparently we get to choose $150 worth of stuff, and we have to go shopping when Jordan's around.

I finally went through the Pit Bull Lovers Gazette and found a few good ideas to work on with Ruby. I found a thing about punishment, and how you should never hit/scold/yell at/etc., but instead try alternatives. The alternative suggested was to use 100% undiluted white vinegar in a spray bottle, and spray the dog when doing something like chewing on furniture. It's not harmful, just tastes gross. I liked this thing, because I never hit Ruby (whether it be a pop on the nose with a newspaper, or swatting with an open hand) but other members of my family do. The other article is entitled "Put Those Feet on The Floor! How to Teach Your Dog To Stop Jumping in Two Easy Steps" and lists the steps and reasoning why it works. Step one; Teach your dog a rock solid down. Step two; Anytime your dog is about to leap at you take one giant step forward into their path. The final step; Combine steps one and two. So, now I need to start working with Ruby on her basic commands, like sit, down, and come (recall).

Yay, I made it to class on time! Well, I now know what problems I'm supposed to do for Chapter 2 in my Python book.

Missed church this morning. Wasn't feeling well, so me and the doggies slept in. Ruby slept in bed with me, and Queenie slept next to my bed.

Room Ideas:
I can't wait until I can rearrange my room! I'm going to rotate my bed 90 degrees, that way it'll be against the windows, lengthwise, at least. I'm going to put the desk against the end of the bed. My night stand will now be on the left (as you face the bed) side of the bed. That'll be better for me because then I'll be able to roll on to my right side and get the light from my lamp when I'm reading before going to sleep. It hurts to roll over on to my left side, so I try avoiding it.
I'm currently putting new sheets on my bed. Ruby leaked through the towel, the fitted sheet, and the top mattress pad, so it was time to change them. I must say, with Ruby and her leaking I sure do change the sheets a lot more, which is good. Before adopting Ruby I probably didn't put fresh sheets on my bed often enough.

Well, I checked my credit card's due date again, and realized that the payment is due tomorrow. Since my parents needed to know how much interest I'd earned on my savings account I had to go to the credit union's website. While I was on the site I transferred money to my checking account so I would have enough to pay my credit card. I then used the online bill pay to pay my credit card.

I'm starting to get another cold. I'm going to spend the rest of the day studying/catching up on school book reading.

I'm kind of excited and nervous for this evening. I feel like I've got so much to do, and not enough time to do it in. I just woke up. Have to eat breakfast, take a shower, get clothes together, eat lunch, do my foundation and primer, go to All City Credit Union to pay my credit card and deposit a check.

Justin's coming over around 2pm. He's going to drive me down, and hang out at the Copper Cart Cafe. It sounds like he's my only guest for the fashion show. Otay's meeting with his new landlord tonight, and Nick is saving up money to fix his car.

I was supposed to get to the Everett Animal Shelter at 10am, but I didn't get there until almost 11am. But it was alright, because Paula was there, and the person she was supposed to be training didn't show up. I did a bunch of dishes, and didn't have to do laundry. I prefer doing dishes over doing laundry.

Was a little late to class tonight, but not too bad. Keith helped me with some of the exercise problems. He suggested that I should work on exercise 4-3, exercise 4-2 and 4-4 are basically repeats of each other, and other problems that we've done. Our beginning web design class was assigned its second assignment.

Okay, so, apparently I should have made sure I had more information about what was going on today. I realized last night that I forgot to ask where exactly I was supposed to be going. So, I just went to Sureel in Kirkland. Apparently I was supposed to go to the hair salon around the corner. I thought that the designer was going to be seeing what we look like, and come up with an idea of what he wants our hair to look like for the fashion show. I didn't think that something was actually going to be done to my hair, like having it cut! Boy, my hair feels weird. Not so much because Dominic blow dried it straight, and used a straightener on it, but more so because he thinned it out a lot, trimmed it, gave me bangs, and layered it. When I say thinned it out a lot, I mean 'a lot'!

I made up my missed appointment from yesterday today. I was running late for school, late enough that I passed my mom on the way to school. Oops, my bad. At least I completed my assignment for my beginning web design class.

I got a call from Jordan, the designer for Friday's fashion show, called me during my C++ class. He left a message, so I called him back. He was calling about coming down to Kirkland to get me hair done for Friday's fashion show.

What a busy/hectic day! I think I did well at the model audition for Seattle Fashion Week. Hopefully I'll hear back from then within the next two weeks.

Last night my parents and I went to the Saturday evening Easter service at church. Which was good because I wasn't feeling very well this morning. I ended up taking my nephews home because my brother had a killer migraine. I was going to sleep in a few hours, but I ended up having to get up and drive. I did make an appearance at church this morning. I was able to have a couple of pancakes. Yay for free food!

After church my mom and I went to Alderwood Mall. I had to find a pair of black leggings or dark denim skinny jeans for my model audition tomorrow. I found a couple of shirts, a pair of dark denim bootcut jeans, and a pair of dark denim skinny jeans at Banana Republic. Thankfully, that was one of the few stores that was actually open.

My brother and nephews when and saw the new animated dragon movie. I want to see it. I've been doing a pretty good job of studying today. I've also started working on cleaning up my room a little.

I'm pretty proud of myself. I've been doing a pretty good job of setting aside at least 20 minutes a day for study time. My nephew's are supposed to be coming over for the weekend.

Auditions for Seattle Fashion Week are going to be on Monday! Now I just have to invest in a pair of black leggings or a pair of dark denim skinny jeans.

The Everett Community College Associate in Applied Science-Transfer for Computer Information Systems outline is emphasized for transfer to Central Washington University. Today I started looking at University of Washington-Bothell campus and their Bachelor of Science in Computing and Software Systems (CSS) program. That looks like a possible option.

I sent an e-mail to the Everett Animal Shelter saying that I was sick, and that was why I was not there for my volunteer shift earlier today.

Yay! I have a Python book now!

Well, I just registered, or maybe re-registered for Seattle Fashion Week. It looks like the auditions will be on Monday, April 5th, at Qwest Field's West Club Lounge from 4pm-7pm. So it looks like I'll miss my first class, and be late to my second class.

Yay! I can see again! I picked up my glasses from Janell on my way to school. So, I was about 5 minutes late to class. Darnit! Oh well, like I said, at least I can see.

I'm trying to stay caught up in my C++ class, but I must be cursed. The computer that I was sitting at did not have Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, so already I was behind. Thankfully, Keith helped me after class ended.

I still need to get my Python book. I'm supposed to ready chapter 1 and the first half of chapter 2 for class tomorrow.

Well, I got about 3 pages done of my paper. This is really hard. It's hard to get 5 pages. I at least e-mailed Keith what I had finished, with my notes attached to the end of it, so he can kind of see where I was going with it.

I finally downloaded/installed the latest BlackBerry Desktop Manager. I've just updated my BlackBerry Bold 9000. Yay, I have so much more memory now! Hopefully this will help my BlackBerry to be quicker.

I didn't end up going to church today, or bowling with the young adults group, because I was attempting to work on my paper.

Yesterday Ruby did something that shocked/scared/spooked me. My mom basically banished Ruby to being outside yesterday (this only lasted a day). When I was feeding her, she was getting really growly towards Rocko. My mom wanted me to get food for Rocko and Merlin, since they don't get to eat as often as they used to. So I went inside and filled two bowls for Rocko and Merlin. Ruby decided that Rocko was getting too close to her food and basically attempted to bite him. When I say bite, I meant she was acting quite dog aggressive. I took her and her food off the porch and put her and her food in front of the steps. When Rocko came down the stairs she went after him again, even though she didn't even have any food left. I immediately took her out of the yard and we went for a walk down to the Centennial Trail. When we got back everything was fine, all of the dogs just curled up on the porch for an afternoon nap. It spooked me because she's never guarded her food before. Hell, she'll even sit there while Spencer eats all of her food.

I really didn't get much done today. I did get a bit more written for my paper, though.

For the most part I studied, got in an hour and 20 minutes of study time. I feel like I'm hitting a wall, though. Writing a 5 page paper is really quite hard. At least I've started typing up my thoughts, hopefully that will help me down the right path.

Last night I got an e-mail that I really didn't appreciate. One part was valid, the rest just pissed me off. Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the e-mail. I did find it in the trash folder. I wrote my reply back, but I still have to add some images to the e-mail.

Tonight I'm going to Tulalip Resort for my friend, Janelle's birthday party. The theme is black and white, so I'm going to wear my black with creme polka dots dress and shoes. I think this is a great outfit, now if only I didn't have this lovely bruise on the inside of my left leg right below my knee. At least the shower I'm going to take will help that a little bit.

Woke up a bit late, so I didn't get to the Everett Animal Shelter until around 10:30am. But I did stay until around 1:30pm, which means that I made up a little bit of the time that I'd missed from times where I have had to leave early. I did meet a girl who's six-year-old son has ADHD and sensory integration. I gave her my contact information so that way she can talk to me, a person with the same situation, outside of volunteering.

Finally got my Birthday freebie from Sephora. I also stopped at Borders and got a book on decluttering "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Decluttering" by Regina Leeds. There are a few things that I don't really agree with in her book, which mostly pertain to the fact that I have ADD. She suggests setting aside several hours to finish a project, where as I prefer to work in 20 minute increments. Yes, I accomplish less in the short term, but I'm less apt to become sidetracked.

I spent almost 2 hours studying today. That's always a good thing.

Finally got to see Otay for the first time since October. We went and looked at a duplex. It's a nice place. 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, single car garage with room for at least 3 more parking spots in the driveway. It didn't have much of a backyard, but there was space for a nice BBQ and picnic table on the back deck and back patio. One of the best things about this place is the storage! The master bedroom has a large walk in closet. There's a coat closet in the entry, the 2nd bedroom has a large closet, lots of storage in both bathrooms and in the kitchen.

First day of spring break. I was in a strangely giddy/hyper mood earlier today. Spent lots of time at Borders today. I bought 2 magazines and 2 books. I got the newest Doctor Who Magazine! It's the introduction of the 'new' style.

Today my brother helped me realize that we actually get to go to Journey this Tuesday! Yay, we get to see Pastor Shawn (hopefully)!

At Shift (young adults group), we worked on scheduling events.

Well, we got the quote/estimate for Ruby's surgery...$5,200!

Poor Ruby, she's had a rough day. She didn't get to eat because she had an appointment with the specialist today.

I might have a chance at passing my 222 class. Well, at least I now have the Cisco Packet Tracer software, so hopefully I'll have an easier time at doing the 'Final Project' portion of the Final.

But I'm going to have to beg for an extension or something to have any chance at passing my 224 class.

I couldn't find my Mickey Mouse St. Patrick's Day T-shirt. So I just wore my "Some Enchanted Evening" South Pacific t-shirt.

Yep, still feel like crying. I worried about Diane's class, when I really should have been worrying about my other two classes.

I struggle so much with trying to understand subnetting. Just when I think I'm starting to understand, I discover that I'm wrong, or forget everything that I thought I was understanding.

Flanaghan found a dead mouse in Chris's car, and a mouse nest. Hopefully his car will stop smelling.

I woke up way late for my dentist appointment. I ate breakfast on my drive into Everett.

Great, I have a lot more to do for my Network Server Admin class than I thought I had to do. I need to write a 5 page paper, complete a quiz that I have, and complete a subnet makeup assignment for doing poorly on the first subnet quiz. I feel like crying.

Super long day today. I'm so tired. Lost an hour of sleep since daylight savings time kicked in this morning.

Today's schedule consisted of 1st service at church, Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show at the Qwest Field Events Center, and Legally Blonde the Musical at the 5th Ave. Theatre.

Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment at 9:30am.

Grandma came over and brought my birthday gift with her. It was a pink cat stuffed animal. I'll have to keep it away from Ruby.
I also worked on printing out a bunch of stuff for my CS222 class.

My 24th Birthday

Last night was a long night. It reminded me that I should never drink on an empty stomach. Other than that, I thought I did well at the casting call.

Slept in for the first time in quite a while. That was nice. Checked out a local salon and spa. May have found a good massage therapist. Went and got my tires rotated, and that was free. Free is always nice. Ate lots of food. Got a new mirror from my parents for my birthday.

Very busy day today. I'm getting ready to head to Kirkland for a casting call.

Well, today was the last day working with IT at the Marysville School District.

Boy were they sure happy to see me today at the Marysville School District Service Center. Apparently I'm the only female working with the IT department. So I was the only one who could do the computers in the girls locker room.

I actually got stuff accomplished today. I went to Dr. Kohlberg by myself, and got there early. Go me! After that appointment and before my appointment with Karen, I made several calls. I called Seattle Veterinary Specialists, played phone tag, and finally got an appointment for Ruby scheduled for next week. I finally called Klein Honda and scheduled a service appointment for my Accord, for this Thursday.

Rick told me that it was a funny story about transferring the data from the broken thumb drive to the replacement thumb drive. I guess it was all done on Friday, after I dropped it off. Rick said that it was pretty funny. Frank stood there holding the connections together while Rick copied all 4.1 gigs of data over to the replacement thumb drive. Rick said it took about 12 minutes. I don't know if that was an exaggeration or not.

Found a dollar on the ground today! Went to the Everett Animal Shelter for the Feline and small animal TTouch class. When we were going through the cats, getting hands on experience, the instructor was letting us know that for some of the more spooked cats we shouldn't overstimulate them. Spend only 2-4 minutes per shift working with those cats. We then watched as some volunteer girls kept trying to get a spooked cat, who was already overstimulated, to be more friendly.

Yay! Frank got my flash drive working long enough to transfer and save everything over to my replacement flash drive.

Took my shower and for the first time in my life I used up all of the hot water that was in the hot water tank! That shower ended on a cold note.
I dropped off my busted thumb drive at the Marysville school District offices for Frank. That way he can attempt to fix it over the weekend, and transfer everything over to my replacement thumb drive. I pray that he'll be able to do it.

I stopped at Joann Fabric in Marysville and picked up a set of 3 pairs of knitting needles and another book on how to knit dog sweaters.

I also stopped at Sally's Beauty Supply, picked up a brush, detangling comb, quick dry top coat for my nails, some hair combs, and stretch mark cream.

The dryer quit working at the Everett Animal Shelter today. I wonder what is wrong with it? I hope it gets fixed soon.

Right now I'm in class. I'm supposed to be working on a lab assignment, but I have no clue what I'm supposed to do. If I did know what I was supposed to do I wouldn't know how to do it. How frustrating. i wish there was something that I could read to help me figure this thing out.

Today we were working at Tulalip Elementary School.

I've been somewhat miserable all day long. My back has been hurting all day, and I've had hot flashes off and on all day. Plus it's been pretty warm out for this time of year, around 60 degrees.

Been attempting to work on my Computer Problem Project paper.

Frank attempted to fix my thumb drive, but wasn't able to. He said that he might be able to do it, if he had it over the weekend. So I'll leave it with him this Friday. I pray to God that he'll be able to get it working long enough to copy all of the data to my new thumb drive.

Today sure hasn't gone very well. I screamed at my puppy. Now I feel horrible about it. When Ruby came running in to the living room she knocked my laptop off of the coffee table. It fell on the carpet at an angle, busting my USB/Thumb drive. It would have been better if I'd lost the hard drive on my laptop. All of my school stuff was/is on that USB drive, along with several other things that are important to me.

Chris got a new car today. Well, new to him, anyway. It's a light blue 1983 Honda Accord LX hatchback. It's an automatic. It's a one owner car with 315k+ miles on it. It's front wheel drive, so it should work out a lot better for him. It was a pretty good deal, $500. I had to drive it home, though, since he had to take some of his pain medication.

My brother got hurt at work today. Apparently he went to Cascade Hospital via ambulance. From what I've been told his left hand has been injured. My mom called me when I was at the Marysville School District buildings, in the IT department. She wanted me to see if I could take an early lunch at head home to tell my dad, a phone was off the hook so she couldn't get through to him.

Ruby chewed on my glasses. Now I have to wear my contacts.

Today's been a long day. I've been up since 6am. Had to be at the Marysville School District offices in Marysville at 8am. Worked at Pinewood Elementary until 3pm. With a one hour lunch break from noon to 1pm.

Lonely

I'm feeling pretty lonely right now, and very out of the loop regarding my friends. I hate this feeling.
Just found out that Heather is 17 weeks pregnant! I guess she announced it on February 12th, but I missed it.
Nick finally texted me back last night, but all he said was "I'm not a good person you shouldn't associate with me. I'm just not who I used to be." But he didn't really give me any explanation.
I haven't heard from Satavy since February 5th. I sent her an e-mail, left her a message on Facebook and Myspace, but still haven't heard anything back.
Apparently Martina moved to Hawaii. The only reason I know is because I checked her Myspace page. I've called and left voice mail but haven't gotten any call back. I've sent her texts and haven't gotten anything back.

I think, starting today, I'm going to set aside at least 5 minutes a day to work with Ruby on her training. It kind of came to a head last night. She's a bouncy puppy. But I really need to work with her on reducing her bouncing/jumping on people.

This weekend has been so busy. And I haven't been able to get any Internet connection on my laptop. We were supposed to go to the movies this afternoon, but then I was reminded by my cell phone calendar that I had an Intro to TTouch class at the Everett Animal Shelter from 1pm-3pm. So my brother and father went and saw a movie, while my mother stayed home. I have a horrible migraine right now, and I'm hungry. At 5pm we have a young adults group meeting thing at Pastor Bryan's house. Hopefully I'll be over my migraine by then.

Didn't really do much today. Started Ruby on her new medication. Went to Costco, Petco, Target, and Lowe's with my dad. Hung out with Donn for a little bit. While I was hanging out with Donn Ruby got into the Petco bag and grabbed her bully sticks. Chris could only find one of the bully sticks. Hopefully I'll find the other two bully sticks once Spencer comes inside.

Started out the day going to Pacific Northwest Ballet and I took the open intermediate ballet class at 10am. It felt so good to be in a more 'normal' ballet class. After the class ended we discovered that 2 of the people in class were actors/performers in "South Pacific". My parents and I were going to the 1:30pm performance. That was pretty awesome, taking a ballet class with 2 people from the show I was going to see at The 5th Avenue Theatre that afternoon.

During the performance the vet and I kept missing each others phone calls, so we were playing a continual round of phone tag. We're going to start Ruby on a different medication, since she's still got the infection, and the Clavamox doesn't seem to be helping.

The only thing I really didn't get done was e-mailing the Marysville school district IT guy what my schedule is for the next three weeks. I also forgot to call about volunteering for a runway show. Darnit!

Laptop is Back in Working Order

My laptop is working again, just took a couple of attempts at reinstalling the OS. I've reinstalled Office Pro 2003, Firefox, and Photoshop CS2.

Right now I'm studying for my exam for my PC Tech II class. I pray that my memory retention works well and that I do well on this exam.

Last night Justin helped me to reformat my hard drive on my laptop, and reinstall the operating system. First we ran the repair, but Internet Explorer wasn't working properly, so then we decided to start from scratch. I loaded most of the drivers last night. Today I was running diagnostics, wanted to check the state of the hard drive. When I left for school, diagnostics were still running.

I've been going through my gmail account some more today. And I've been keeping mostly on top of the class stuff today.

Darn, I can't really think what to write about. I'm sure something will come to me while I'm in class. This is day 7 of no working laptop. Hmm, I must be bored, I'm actually finally going through my gmail account, looking at old e-mails, and then deleting them.

I spent a lot of time today just reading school books and cleaning. I was a good girl and cleaned both litter boxes, sorted laundry, and helped clean my bathroom. I did a deep pink eyeshadow makeup look that turned out really cute.

It sounds like my grandparents may be trying to give away Peggy, their Miniature Schnauzer. I'm not sure exactly why, I haven't heard the whole story. Apparently Peggy hasn't really been eating much lately. It sounds kind of like she's depressed. I hope that somebody tells me what is going on tomorrow. Grandma brought Peggy over around 4pm, figuring that being around Ruby might help put some life back into her. I hope it helped, but I don't think it really did. Then again, Peggy wasn't really given the opportunity to get comfortable and come out of her shell.

I told Sarah about trying out for Seattle Fashion Week. She's quite excited. I guess she really likes fashion. She said she'd want to work/intern at Vogue or Elle instead of Seventeen.

We got some great new toys for Ruby while we were at Costco. She loves them.

I'm looking forward to the opportunities that may arise from taking ballet at PNB. No, I did not get up and take a lesson at PNB today. I'm going to start next Friday, when my parents and I go down to Seattle for the day.

Took Ruby in to get a urinalysis done and more medication. I also stopped by Bridges and picked up another pack of the Greenies Pill Pockets in beef flavor.

I didn't quite make it to my ballet class today. I was running about half an hour late. So, instead I sat reading my new book, The Ballet Companion. I also searched Pacific Northwest Ballet's website for their Open program.

They're the only other area dance school that offers ballet classes at a time and day I can take them. They offer a Beginning/Intermediate class Saturday 10am-11:30am, and an Intermediate class Monday-Friday 10am-11:30am. So, theoretically, I could take 5 ballet classes a week! That would be great! After a while I would feel comfortable taking the Intermediate/Advanced class on Saturday 10am-11:30am. That class is on pointe.

After dinner I talked to my mom about taking ballet classes through PNB's Open program. I'm alright with taking ballet classes at this studio in Lake Stevens to work on my technique, but I want something more. This studio focuses a lot on competitions, so much so that I didn't have class last Friday due to there being a competition last weekend. My mom sounded alright with me taking ballet classes through PNB's Open program. Actually, she asked me when classes were, and when I told her that they're Monday-Saturday at 10am she offered to give me money for class and parking so that I can go tomorrow! That'll be awesome. I think I shall give it a try. It means I won't get to sleep in, but that's okay, I sleep in too much as it is. I pray that I wake up and get ready and am out of the house by 9am.

Well, it looks like my makeup tutorial video won't be up until next week, at the earliest. I had the hard drive of my laptop replaced on December 3rd, 2009, which was within the year of warranty that I had on my laptop. My laptop appears to be experiencing a problem that is similar to the problem I dealt with at the end of November/beginning of December. I feel that my replacement hard drive should have lasted more than the little over 2 months that it lasted. I don't feel that I should have to pay to have a replacement hard drive, seeing as the replacement hard drive appears to not have even lasted 3 months.

The only reason I'm at school right now is due to needing to make the final payment on my classes, and so that I can get help reformatting my hard drive on my laptop. See if that'll take care of the problem.

Bye-bye Laptop

Well, I probably won't be posting much over the next few days. I'm going to have to take the Mint CD that I have and back up my files, again. Looks like I shall be reformatting my hard drive tomorrow. Oh joy. To say that I'm pissed off would be an understatement. This is the second time I've had to deal with this since November!

I've already spent two hours reading my school books today. Go me! Haha. Now I have to quickly research Safe Mode and Diagnostic Mode and write a short paragraph on the differences between the two.

I was about 10 minutes to class today, which is better than it's been. I really need to work on getting to school on time.

Sorry, I haven't had the chance to work on editing my makeup video today. I was busy suffering from insomnia last night, so I didn't fall asleep until around 3am this morning. I only got up around 10am because my dad threatened to dump water on me to wake me up.

My Network Server Admin teacher talked to me about a possible internship for the summer, and about helping rid the Marysville school districts computer servers of viruses. He'll put my name in the queue for that opportunity. I wonder if it'll include some pay, even if it's minimum wage. My teacher said that it'll be a good way to network/meet people.

Well, I did film my tutorial yesterday, and I wore the look today. Now I just need to work on taking a picture of the look after wearing it all day, finish editing my tutorial, and load it on Youtube.

Yay, my mother's talking to my father again. Things are back to normal. I'm getting more studying done. So, that's good. I really need to work on Ruby and her jumping up when she greets people. Ooh, Ruby finally did a down! I was so happy. I'm going to attempt making my first makeup video. I think I'm going to do it on my everyday look using my Clinique quad.

My dad went to the model train show with my brother and my two nephews.

Woohoo! I filmed my first makeup tutorial! I'll try and get it edited and posted tomorrow. Wish me luck on that.

Well, I didn't really wake up around 4am this morning. I'm going to say that I was exhausted from the school week. I woke up around 10am. I didn't really accomplish any of the things that I'd planned on accomplishing today. But I did clean both litter boxes for the cats and have been studying for school.

My mother's being quite juvenile right now. She's basically giving my father the silent treatment. All because we tried to throw away perfume/cosmetic products that were over 24 years old. I don't think perfume is supposed to last that long.

I wish my headache would go away. This teacher has a loud, carrying voice, which is most likely contributing to my continued headache. I am hungry. I need and want a job. I so need to start focusing on my school work right now. I've just been spacing out for most of this class. I'm going to start reading now.

I think I'm just going to start getting up when I first wake up in the morning. Take a shower, eat breakfast, get ready for the day. I can take a nap later in the afternoon if I have to.

So far, I'm 0 for 3 on being on time/early to things that I'm supposed to be to. I was supposed to be at an appointment yesterday at 1:10pm, I got there at 1:20pm. I was supposed to be to class by 4pm last night, I got there at 4:20pm. I was supposed to be to class at 4pm tonight, I got here at 4:10pm. Although, being only 10 minutes late is an improvement for me, sadly.

I thought that the college's wireless was working fine today, but then I got disconnected after almost 2 hours of being online. At least I'm back online, though.

I can't concentrate! I'm supposed to do an assignment, and I just can't focus. The assignment is due in half an hour!

Posting this really late because the school's wireless network wasn't working properly.

I got lots of compliments on what I wore today.

Today was Ruby's last day of her beginning obedience class. She threw up a little bit, once, when we were in Woodinville on our way there. She didn't throw up on the way home. Yay! She's improved! She didn't even poop this time.

I'm feeling like whatever I do it's wrong. At least, that's how my mom is making me feel right now. I picked out some Healthy Choice TV dinners when my dad and I were at Fred Meyer's that looked yummy. I was in charge of fixing dinner. I let it sit a bit too long to cool down, so everybody was complaining that it was cold. Then my mom complained about how bland the vegetables were. And she wonders why nobody else ever willingly fixes dinner!?
I picked up a 3 pack of bully sticks at PetCo earlier this evening for my puppy Ruby. They're great for Ruby because they keep her really occupied and quiet while she works on them, and they last her quite a while. As I went into the living room Spencer, my brother's ACD/Blue Heeler, was busy chewing away on one of the bully sticks! We were having a bit of a standoff trying to get him to release the bully stick. Then my mom complained about the bully sticks, because one of her co-workers champion Corgi's broke a tooth while chewing a bully stick. When I told her that I was only going to be giving Ruby the bully sticks while she's a puppy, and that Ruby was currently chewing on a bully stick instead of chewing on the coffee table she came back with a 'there's no difference' or something of that nature. The gist of it being, that she thinks that as soon as Ruby is finished with her bully stick, she'll go right back to chewing on the coffee table.
